MARGINAIS AMEAÇAM MATAR JORNALISTAS E EFECTIVOS DO SIC
Jornalistas dos órgãos públicos de comunicação social no Cuando Cubango foram ameaçados de morte, na segunda-feira, por integrantes de grupos de marginais.
A ameaça foi feita durante o acto de apresentação de marginais, que decorreu na Direcção Provincial do Serviço de Investigação Criminal (SIC).
Além dos profissionais da Edições Novembro E.P, Angop, Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA) e Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), os indivíduos ameaçaram, também, de morte, efectivos do SIC, sobretudo o porta-voz do referido órgão do Ministério do Interior (Minint), que orientava o acto.
“Quando sair da cadeia vou matar vocês todos” ou “quando nos verem na rua é melhor fugirem” eram as ameaças mais ouvidas.
Os marginais foram detidos no passado dia 20, sob suspeita de envolvimento em dois crimes de homicídio voluntário, assaltos na via pública, estabelecimentos comerciais e residências, com recurso à arma branca e de fogo, segundo o porta-voz do SIC, Paulo de Novais.
Acrescentou que o Serviço de Investigação Criminal irá abrir mais um processo-crime contra os marginais, à luz do artigo 170º, do novo Código de Processo Penal, para que possam ser responsabilizados pelas ameaças proferidas aos profissionais da comunicação social e aos efectivos do SIC.
“Os marginais são considerados altamente perigosos, tendo em conta que várias vezes já foram encaminhados para a cadeia, por porte e uso ilegal de arma de fogo, furto e roubo no interior de estabelecimentos comerciais, residências e na via pública”, explicou Paulo de Novais.
Fez saber que, durante a detenção dos marginais, foram apreendidas quatro armas de fogo do tipo AKM, um computador portátil, dez telemóveis, quatro impressoras e uma motorizada que era usada para a fuga depois dos assaltos.

Paulo de Novais disse que o Serviço de Investigação Criminal deteve, também, quatro cidadãos de nacionalidade namibiana sob suspeita de contrabando de mil litros de gasóleo na fronteira entre a sede municipal do Cuangar e a Namíbia.
Deu a conhecer que a Polícia frustrou a saída de Menongue para o interior da província do Cuando Cubango de mil litros de gasolina e 2.250 de gasóleo.
Acrescentou que, durante a semana finda, o SIC esclareceu nove crimes, com destaque para os de homicídio, que ocorreram nos bairros Saúde e Tomás.
