COMANDANTE PANDA BALEADO: POLÍCIA NACIONAL PERDE CONTROLO DOS MARGINAIS
O ex-comandante-geral da Polícia Nacional, Alfredo Eduardo Manuel Mingas “Panda”, foi baleado, na manhã deste domingo, na zona da centralidade do Kilamba, em Luanda, por indivíduos desconhecidos, apurou de fontes seguras o Jornal 24 Horas, tendo sido, de imediato, evacuado para Uma unidade hospitalar.
Panda, de acordo com a nossa fonte, terá sido surpreendido quando, na manhã deste domingo, saia da habitual sessão de exercícios físicos matinais, em que indivíduos desconhecidos apareceram e efectuaram diversos disparos, não sabendo que regiões do corpo foi atingido.
É, até ao momento, desconhecido o estado clínico do ex-comandante-geral da Polícia Nacional.
De realçar que Alfredo Eduardo Manuel Mingas “Panda” apresentou, ao Presidente João Lourenço, a demissão depois do envolvimento num acidente que fez dois mortos, ocorrido na Avenida Comandante Gika, arredores de Luanda.
“Quero aproveitar esta oportunidade para apresentar aos cidadãos, à sociedade civil organizada, o meu pedido de desculpas por eventuais erros, falhas que tenha cometido fora e no exercício das minhas funções enquanto comandante geral, pois que só não erra, só não falha quem não trabalha”, assumiu.
A postura assumida por Panda, em solicitar a demissão do cargo, foi considerada de “digna e sentido de Estado”, revelando respeito aos desígnios da corporação e das famílias que perderam os seus ente-queridos no acidente.
Na altura do acidente, sgundo um comunicado do Ministério do Interior, o então comandante-geral da Polícia Nacional transitava no sentido sul-norte, tendo a viatura que conduzia colidido com outra que saía do interior de um bairro, por caminho rural, para aceder à via principal.
