OMATAPALO VENCE LEÃO DE OURO DA FILDA E O PRÉMIO PRODESI PELA FAZENDA MUMBA
A OMATAPALO venceu, no último sábado 22, o premio Leão de Ouro da Melhor Participação na 38.ª edição da Feira Internacional de Luanda (FILDA), na Categoria Construção Civil e Obras Públicas, diz a missiva que o Jornal Hora H teve acesso.

Segundo a fonte, foi a segunda edição consecutiva da FILDA em que a OMATAPALO recebe este prémio, atribuído no ano em que o Grupo celebra o 20.º aniversário apostou numa presença reforçada na feira, onde esteve representado por oito empresas e foi também reconhecido pelo Executivo pelo seu contributo para a produção agro-pecuária nacional, através da FAZENDA MUMBA.
O troféu pela Melhor Participação na Categoria Construção Civil e Obras Públicas foi entregue, sábado, na Gala dos Leões de Ouro, que decorreu numa unidade hoteleira em Luanda, no encerramento da FILDA, e junta-se ao prémio recebido pela FAZENDA MUMBA, na sexta-feira, de Alto Desempenho no Fomento da Produção Nacional 2022, na categoria da Agropecuária e de Produtores que mais se destacam no quadro do Programa de Apoio à Produção, Diversificação das Exportações e Substituição das Importações (PRODESI).
De acordo com a fonte do Hora H, o prémio foi atribuído pelo Ministério da Economia e Planeamento (MEP) à Fazenda do Grupo OMATAPALO, localizada na Huíla, próximo da fronteira com o Kuando Kubango, com mais de 90 mil hectares dos quais 20 mil em plena utilização.
O PRODESI é um programa lançado pelo Executivo para acelerar a diversificação da produção nacional e geração de riqueza, num conjunto de produções com maior potencial de geração de valor de exportação e substituição de importações, designadamente nos sectores da Alimentação e Agro-indústria, Recursos Minerais, Petróleo e Gás Natural, Florestal, Têxteis, Vestuário e Calçado, Construção e Obras Públicas, entre outros.
“O balanço da nossa participação na 38.ª edição da FILDA não poderia ser mais positivo, não apenas pelas distinções que tivemos a honra de receber quer por parte da organização do evento, incluindo o segundo Leão de Ouro consecutivo, quer pelo Ministério da Economia e Planeamento (MEP), PRODESI, mas também pela elevada afluência e adesão de visitantes aos nossos stands e às iniciativas que neles fomos lançando aos longo dos dias do evento”, refere Edmar Manuel, porta-voz do Grupo OMATAPALO.

No stand principal, da OMATAPALO Engenharia e Construção, estiveram presentes as empresas ENERLINE (construção e manutenção de infra-estruturas de redes de transporte e distribuição de energia eléctrica, gás e telecomunicações), METALOSUL (metalomecânica), EMADEL CARPINTARIA (produção de mobiliário e carpintaria civil), DRILL GO (geotecnia e obras subterrâneas) e SIEMA (instalações eléctricas e mecânicas).
Neste stand, no dia de abertura do evento, o Grupo convidou a Orquestra Camunga para actuar ao vivo.
A Orquestra recebe apoio da OMATAPALO, no âmbito das celebrações do seu 20.º aniversário e tendo em conta a forte ligação do Grupo às comunidades onde marca presença.
Trata-se de um projecto que nasceu em Luanda e visa enquadrar, através das artes e da música, crianças e jovens em risco de exclusão social e insuficiência alimentar. O apoio do Grupo a este projecto inclui a oferta de instrumentos musicais e materiais escolares, com vista à criação da Escola de Música da Orquestra Camunga no Lubango.
Nos outros dois espaços da OMATAPALO na 38.ª edição da FILDA estiveram a FAZENDA MUMBA (agro-negócio) e a EMADEL LAR (mobiliário e decoração de interiores), que acolheram, nos dias 20 e 21, respectivamente, mais duas actividades muito concorridas: a confecção, ao vivo, de especialidades e pitéus pela Chef Elizabeth Martins, seguida de degustação pelo público.
O objectivo da iniciativa, foi mostrar o que de melhor se produz na Fazenda do Grupo, assim como a qualidade e funcionalidade das cozinhas da EMADEL LAR, enquanto espaços privilegiados de confecção alimentar e de convívio das famílias angolanas.
A FAZENDA MUMBA, recorde-se, a par da produção de carne, opera na produção integrada de cereais (milho, soja, trigo e feijão), produção de fruticultura (abacate, manga e maracujá) e silvicultura, sempre tendo como base uma agricultura de precisão.
