APREENDIDOS NOVE QUILOS DE COCAÍNA NO AEROPORTO 4 DE FEVEREIRO
Um total de nove quilogramas de cocaína que se encontravam dissimulados em quatro malas de viagem provenientes do Brasil, foram apreendidos pelo Serviço de Investigação Criminal (SIC) no Aeroporto Internacional de Luanda.
O director do gabinete de comunicação institucional e imprensa da direcção geral do SIC, superintendente-chefe Manuel Halaiwa, disse que, “das quatros malas de viagem onde os nove quilogramas de cocaína proveniente do Brasil estavam dissimulada, duas tinham como destino a cidade de Luanda e as outras duas seriam transportadas para a África do Sul, por um cidadão tanzaniano”.
Sendo que estão envolvidos neste esquema cinco cidadãos, dos quais, um tanzaniano e quatro angolanos. O estrangeiro de 43 anos, comerciante e escultor, estava na condição de mula e os quatro angolanos com idades compreendidas entre os 36 a 56 anos de idade, eram os receptores da mercadoria que foi apreendida esta segunda-feira, 01.
O tanzaniano foi detido com um total de seis quilos de cocaína que estava camuflada nas bases das malas, em forma de pó, e os receptadores angolanos, foram encontrados apenas com três quilos, que estavam igualmente dissimulados no fundo das placas das malas, com plástico à sua volta.
Para disfarçar o cheiro da droga usaram alcatrão para desviar o produto do olfacto dos cães no momento de verificação das malas no aeroporto.
De acordo com o SIC, homens foram detidos em momentos distintos, sendo que o estrangeiro foi detido na sala de desembarque de passageiros e os angolanos foram encontrados próximo do tapete das bagagens, quando esperavam pela mercadoria.
A direcção geral do SIC garante que os indivíduos serão presentes ao Ministério Público, enquanto diligências prosseguem para esclarecimento total deste crime e investigação da rede que se presume ser mais extensa.
