ZUNGUEIRAS EM LUANDA PROTESTAM CONTRA “VIOLÊNCIA POLICIAL”
Vendedoras ambulantes de Luanda, as “zungeiras”, vão manifestar-se neste sábado, 18, em Luanda contra o que dizem ser as constantes perseguições das autoridades políciais que acusam de extorsão e de fazer negócios com os seus produtos apreendidos, entre outras acusações.
A manifestação é organizada pelo Movimento de Mulheres pelos Direitos Civis e Políticos, cuja dirigente Laurinda Gouveia diz não se poder admitir o que a mulher zungueira em Angola vem passando.
“Muitas mulheres zungueiras são perseguidas, são roubadas dos seus negócios, são violadas, são batidas, são mortas e nós não podemos encarar isso de forma serena”, disse.
Zungeiras nas ruas de Luanda confirmaram à Voz da América as acusações.
Uma vendedora disse que tanto a polícia como fiscais, quando confiscam os seus negócios, “não entregam eles fazem também negócio com o nosso negócio que eles levam”.
“Para te darem você tem que dar muito dinheiro”, acrescentou.
Lúcia Manuel, outra zungueira, fez eco dessa acusação acrescentando que a “polícia bate, polícia pisam negócio”.
“Neste momento a polícia já não está mais para chutar bandido, está para chutar zungeuiras, e aqui onde nós procuramos o pão para os nossos filhos”, disse.
Vanessa Fortunato, comentarista angolana, lamenta a situação porque passam as mulheres zungueiras e diz que “infelizmente a onda de ataque a mulheres zungueiras tem sido cada vez mais frequentes”.
A VOA contactou o porta-voz da Polícia Nacional, subcomissário Mateus Rodrigues, quem prometeu dar esclarecimentos a qualquer momento, o que ainda não aconteceu.
O porta-voz do Governo da Província de Luanda, Wilson dos Santos, garantiu que as autoridades também estão preocupadas com a situação da mulher zungueira.
“O Governo cria condições para vendedores e aqueles comerciantes que querem exercer o seu comércio em lugares seguros”, concluiu Santos.
