JORNALISTA MARIANO BRÁS ALVO DE AMEAÇAS DE MORTE
O jornalista e Director do Jornal O Crime, Mariano Brás, foi alertado por uma fonte próxima ao sistema de segurança nacional que haverá em curso um plano que pode atentar contra a sua vida ou de um outro funcionário da publicação que dirige há mais de oito anos, segundo a publicação do jornal que dirige.
O alerta foi nesta quarta-feira, 7 de Dezembro, tendo o jornalista, antes funcionário do extinto A Capital, editoria de crime, recebido a mensagem de que indivíduos alegadamente afectos a órgãos de segurança nacional têm, para já, a missão de localizar a sede do Jornal O Crime.
Tal missão foi concluída ontem, terça-feira, 06, dia em que os indivíduos receberam informações sobre as características da viatura que Mariano conduz.
Questionado sobre o objectivo da operação, a fonte começou por alertar, como que a fugir do cerne da questão, que “eles já sabem onde fica o escritório do jornal e o carro que o director conduz, por isso tens que redobrar os cuidados”.
Ameaças são constantes, mas Mariano Brás diz que “alertas sobre atentado contra a nossa vida não podem ser vistos de ânimo leve”, ressaltando o período de intimidações de jornalistas no regime de João Lourenço.
Por isso mesmo alerta a comunidade nacional e internacional para a necessidade de protecção aos jornalistas.
“Se algo acontecer, contra si, contra a publicação ou contra outro jornalista, o principal suspeito é o Estado Angolano”, indica
Recorda-se que a sede do Sindicato dos Jornalistas Angolanos (SJA), em Luanda, foi assaltada por duas vezes em uma semana e ninguém foi responsabilizado.
Está agendada para o dia 17 uma marcha contra ameaças do gênero pelo sindicato dos jornalistas angolanos.
