Segundo a nota que o Jornal Hora H teve acesso, a infra-estrutura sanitária de tipologia T1, construída no âmbito do Plano Integrado de Intervenção nos Municípios PIIM, conta com áreas de triagem, consultórios, farmácia, maternidade, sala de espera, laboratório, salas de observação e instalações sanitárias, para atender um universo de mais de três mil habitantes da localidade que deixam de percorrer 22 quilómetros até a sede Municipal do Cuíto Cuanavale em busca da assistência médica e medicamentosa.
Ao dirigir-se para a população, o Governador José Martins, considerou a acção como uma das respostas, as políticas públicas no sector, 1º, aproximar os serviços as populações, 2º, humanizar os serviços, criar condições dignas de atendimento aos cidadãos e condições para facilitar que os profissionais desenvolvam bem as suas tarefas.
