GOVERNADOR ADRIANO MENDES DE CARVALHO INAUGURA FÁBRICA DE PESCADO E RENASCE ESPERANÇA NA JUVENTUDE DO ZAIRE
Trata-se da fábrica de transformação e processamento de pescado, inaugurado este sábado, no município do Soyo, província do Zaire, um investimentos privado da empresa SEATAG Pescas, na ordem dos mais de 80 milhões de dólares americanos que, nesta primeira fase, estão criados cerca de 1000 postos de emprego directos e poderá proporcionar 4.000 indirectos.
Hoje sábado, 23 de Setembro, a Ministra das Pescas e Recursos Marinhos, Carmen de Sacramento Neto e o Governador da província do Zaire, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, respectivamente, ambos, sob o olhar atento dos presentes cortaram a fita do empreendimento e abriram as portas da fábrica ao público.
A fábrica constituída com 6 naves e tanque de recepção de peixe, conta com duas camaras de conservação, uma área de tratamento e embalagem com capacidade de 10 mil toneladas de peixe, bem como, uma área de estufa e com 24 tunes de congelação. Existem ainda, 115 metros de comprimento e 10 de largura de área reservada para produção de peixe seco com capacidade de 250 toneladas.
Segundo a Ministra da Pescas e Recursos Marinhos, aumentar a capacidade de produção de peixe e de seus derivados é uma das apostas do executivo. Por isso, com investimento do género a empresa torna-se parceira do governo que se junta a outros projectos privados rumo ao desenvolvimento sustentável do Pais.
O Governador Provincial, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, mostrou-se alegre e, em nome do Governo que dirige e das populações, agradeceu o investimento da empresa SEATAG, segundo o qual, traz benefícios imensuráveis à província, isto é, por garantir postos trabalho sobretudo para os jovens locais e não só.
No terreno, constatou-se empenho e dedicação quanto a responsabilidade social e ambiental por parte da empresa,
foram construídos dormitórios e refeitório para os trabalhadores, ainda um posto médico e em parceria com projecto Otchiva criada na zona uma estufa com mais de 800 pés de mangais que hoje mesmo começaram a ser lançados a terra, a beira do rio.
