A cada dia que se passa a população angolana está a perder o poder de compra, com o preço dos produtos da cesta básica a disparar diariamente nos principais mercados de Luanda. Nos dias de hoje, o que antes era muito é agora pouco e o pouco tornou-se quase nada.
Lamentações como “está difícil viver neste País” é o que mais se ouve das populações que todos os dias correm para os mercados e armazéns para fazer compras, mas sem muita esperança de levarem alimentos suficientes para casa.
Esperança Alberto Félix, dona de casa que falou ao Novo Jornal, já não sabe o que é comprar uma caixa inteira de coxa de frango, e, para conseguir ter este produto em casa, opta pela sociedade entre duas ou três pessoas.
” Agora só faço sócia para conseguir ter um pouco de tudo na despensa, já não sei mais o que é levar uma caixa de coxa para casa” falou.
Maria Kiala, outra cliente, lamenta estar a gastar mais e levar muito menos alimentos para casa, que não chegam nunca para um mês.
” Estou a gastar muito dinheiro só em compras de alimentos. Antes, com 30 mil kwanzas, eu tinha todas as compras de casa feitas, agora, com este valor, só consigo adquirir um saco de arroz, uma caixa de massa e um bidon de óleo de cinco litros”, lamentou.
Teresa Matondo, que o Novo Jornal encontrou às compras no mercado do Golf 2, conta que em sua casa tiveram de mudar os hábitos alimentares para economizar produtos.
” Nós tínhamos três refeições por dia, mas actualmente só temos duas, tomamos o pequeno-almoço no intervalo das 10H ou 11H e jantamos às 17H ou às 18H, já não há almoço”, contou.
Quanto às vendedoras do mercado do Avó Kumbi, disseram que as vendas baixaram significativamente e que só não desistem do comércio porque têm filhos para sustentar.
Vanda João explica: “as vendas estão a baixar muito, antigamente por dia comercializávamos duas a três caixas de coxa e de fígado, hoje até para vender uma caixa destes alimentos tens de ter muita sorte, a força que nos mantém aqui são os nossos filhos”.
Sany Pereira, vendedora de peixe no mercado do Golf 2, disse que tem sido muito difícil conseguir comprar uma caixa de peixe para revender, porque está muito cara e a tendência é subir dia-após-dia.
” O preço da caixa de peixe está muito elevado, antes era 27 mil kwanzas agora estamos a comprar a 37 mil kz e cada tábua sai a 17 ou 18 mil kz, quando antes era 14 ou 13 mil kz.
O Novo Jornal efectuou nesta quarta-feira uma ronda pelos mercados do Golf 2, Avó Kumbi e da Teixeira, onde foi possível verificar que a situação da subida do preço dos produtos da cesta básica continua crítica.
Por exemplo, a caixa de coxa de 10kg custava entre 7.000 e 8.000 kz, agora está a ser comercializada por 13.500, a caixa de carapau, que custava 27.000 kz, agora está no valor de 37.000 kz, o pescoço de porco de 10kg, que antes vendiam a 9.000 agora está a 13.700kz e a caixa de asa de frango (asinha) está a custar 17.000, quando antes era 11.000 kz.
Quanto aos produtos a retalho, duas coxas de frango estão a custar 1.000 kz, quando antes custavam 4.000, uma porção de frango de 1kg está a sair a 5.000, antes era a 2.500 kz, e de galinha rija, que era vendida a 1.500, agora estão a comercializá-la a 3.500 ou 4.000 kz.
Já o bidão de óleo vegetal de 25 litros está a ser comercializado a 23.500 kz, quando antes custava 14.000, o de cinco litros está a ser vendido a 6.600 kz, quando anteriormente custava 3.200 kz e o bidão de um litro passou para 1.500, quando era vendido a 800 ou 900 kz.
O saco de arroz de 25kg era comercializado entre os 7.800 e os 8.500, agora passou para 16.500 ou mesmo 17.500 kz, enquanto a caixa de massa alimentar, que era vendida a 3.300 kz, agora está a custar 5.000 kz. Já o saco de açúcar de 50kg está a custar 38.000, quando antes custava 16.000 kz.
O preço dos produtos a retalho também estão a ser alterados: um quilograma de feijão, que antes era vendido a 500 kz, agora estão a vendê-lo entre os 800 e os 900kz, um pacote de massa alimentar custava 200 kz, mas agora está 300, e um kg de arroz, que custava 300kz, está a ser comercializado entre os 700 e os 800 kz, preços que são instáveis e sempre a subir.
