UNITA COMEMORA ANIVERSÁRIO DO LÍDER JONAS SAVIMBI
A UNITA lançou, ontem, em Luanda, a quadra comemorativa ao aniversário do presidente fundador do partido, Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, que se assinala amanhã (3 de Agosto). Em declarações aos jornalistas, o secretário-geral da UNITA, Álvaro Chikuamanga Daniel, anunciou a realização de uma jornada de reflexão sobre a vida política, económica e social do país, cujo acto central acontece sábado, no Largo das Escolas, sob liderança do presidente do partido, Adalberto Costa Júnior.
Álvaro Daniel informou que antecede o acto central uma marcha no largo do Cemitério de Sant’Ana, em Luanda. Segundo o programa das actividades, até 27 deste mês, está previsto, igualmente, um seminário sobre “O contributo do Dr. Savimbi para a democracia de Angola” e palestra sobre “A visão económica de Savimbi”.
Segundo o secretário-geral da UNITA, Jonas Savimbi foi um patriota, cujos ensinamentos e dizeres são hoje tidos pela sociedade como profecias. “Se estivesse em vida, completaria 89 anos”, referiu Álvaro Daniel, anunciando a realização em todo o país e no exterior de actividades políticas, cívicas, culturais e desportivas em alusão à data.
Sob o lema “Fiéis ao pensamento do mestre doutor Savimbi, saudemos o 3 de Agosto”, o político esclareceu o projecto da Fundação Jonas Savimbi, que disse decorrer e envolve a família e o partido, para se tornar uma realidade.
No encontro, foram colocadas, ainda, questões sobre as contas bloqueadas da UNITA, os subsídios de instalação e o caso de destituição, ao que Álvaro Daniel explicou tratar-se de um processo anunciado, “não uma simples intenção política, mas que existe estratégia clara para se avançar com o mesmo”.
“A UNITA vai escolher o melhor momento para dar entrada na Assembleia Nacional”, disse Álvaro Daniel, frisando que o processo está a ser tratado nos termos legais, por ser “uma luta com consciência e que o partido espera obter um bom desfecho”.
