O Governador Provincial do Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, visitou neste sábado 17 Junho, diversas obras em curso e paralisadas na cidade do Luena, com o objectivo de avaliar o seu grau de execução, aferir as razões da paralisação, bem como o impacto social desejado.
Acompanhado pelos Vices-Governadores, Membros do Governo Provincial e o Administrador Municipal do Moxico, o Governador percorreu os trabalhos de acomodação do troço EN180 ao Estabelecimento Prisional do Boma, que visa facilitar o acesso e a segurança da nova unidade, cuja inauguração está prevista para Agosto deste ano.
Ernesto Muangala constatou também a situação das obras paralisadas da escola do segundo ciclo no Alto-Luena e da escola primária T12 no bairro Sangondo, que deverão ser retomadas no próximo ano, no âmbito do Orçamento Geral do Estado (OGE) 2024.
O Governador visitou ainda os trabalhos preliminares para reabilitação da estrada secundária que interliga o Centro Médico Teixeira Bravo ao Lar do idoso “Rainha Nhacatolo”, bem como a terraplanagem das vias principais do bairro Sinai-Novo, que visam melhorar a mobilidade e a qualidade de vida dos moradores.
Por último, Ernesto Muangala inteirou-se das obras de construção da central fotovoltaica de 29,6 MW, que será concluída ainda este ano e irá reforçar a capacidade de produção e distribuição de energia eléctrica na província.
