UNITA E PRS DIZEM QUE SUBIDA DA GASOLINA É UM “GOLPE DURO” AO BOLSO DO CIDADÃO
A UNITA, principal partida da oposição, e o PRS reagiram ao anúncio do aumento do preço de gasolina feito nesta quinta-feira, pelo Governo, considerado que se trata de “um golpe duro” ao bolso do cidadão.
Os dois partidos consideram que as soluções apresentadas pelo Governo até ao momento vão dificultar ainda mais a vida das pessoas num País onde a situação do desemprego é muito alta.
“É um transtorno completo para a vida das famílias”, disse ao Novo Jornal o porta-voz da UNITA, Marcial Dachala, frisando que a subida da gasolina deve ser acompanhada de um aumento salarial.
“Os transportes colectivos vão ser subsidiados, incluindo os taxistas”, reconheceu o deputado, acrescentando que, com a subida da gasolina, o impacto no aumento de custo de vida da população é directo, assim como no sector produtivo e de serviços.
“Este aumento veio agravar mais o custo de vida que os angolanos suportam, diariamente, num País onde o índice de desemprego é muito alto e assustador. É um golpe no bolso do cidadão”, acrescentou Marcial Dachala.
Na opinião do secretário-geral do PRS, Rui Malopa Miguel, a medida sendo uma das principais recomendações do Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI), o Executivo deveria reajustar os salários da função pública para fazer face ao custo de vida.
“Angola comprometeu-se com o FMI e com o Banco Mundial a acabar com os subsídios aos combustíveis, num processo gradual que iniciou agora. Mas esta medida vai afectar a vida das populações”, acrescentou, salientando que a cesta básica, por exemplo, vai ter seu custo alterado pelo aumento da gasolina.
O Executivo anunciou esta quinta-feira a retirada gradual de subsídios à gasolina, que vai passar dos actuais 160 kwanzas para 300 kwanzas o litro.
