PRESIDENTE DO TS JUSTIFICA PATENTEAMENTO AO SOBRINHO
O Presidente do Tribunal Supremo Joel Leonardo, foi “chamado” recentemente para explicar as circunstancias em que promoveu um sobrinho Silvano António Manuel, para o grau militar de major das forças armadas angolanas cuja cerimonia aconteceu no seu gabinete.

O argumento que forneceu é de que o sobrinho que até então era capitão acabava de ser promovido a major no seu quartel a que estava adstrito, e neste dia telefonou-lhe para dar a “boa” notícia. Explicou ainda que ao receber o telefonema do sobrinho, este disse lhe que depois de promovido faltava-lhe apenas a benção do tio Joel Leonardo. Terá sido nestas circunstancias que o Presidente do Supremo, conforme explicou junto das entidades que exigiram de esclarecimento, “repatenteou” o sobrinho no seu gabinete.
Leonardo explicou que o que fez foi apenas retirar os galões e voltou a colocar fazendo uma simulação de continência que representou sinal de benção ao sobrinho.
Major das FAA, Silvano António Manuel, de 38 anos, foi requisitado por Joel Leonardo para trabalhar consigo no Tribunal Supremo, onde inicialmente ocupou o cargo de Chefe do Património do Conselho Superior da Magistratura Judicial, para depois passar a integrar a equipa de segurança do tio que é constituída por elementos da Policia de Segurança Pessoal e de Entidades Protocolares (PSPEP).
Silvano Manuel é casado com Vilma da Costa Mateus Manuel, uma jurista que foi admitida como magistrada num concurso que se alega ter sido irregular.

Os outros são Isidro Coutinho que estava como assessor para a Área do Cofre dos Tribunais e Carlos Salumbongo advogado e seu assessor no Conselho Superior da Magistratura Judicial.
