Em declarações à DW, o secretário-geral do SINPROF, Ademar Jinguma, explicou que o Ministério da Educação limitou-se a solicitar uma moratória de 15 dias para melhorar as condições de negociação, algo que os professores recusaram.
“E como as matérias em discussão já datam de algum tempo, os professores entenderam não ponderar, porque o Governo teve tempo suficiente para abordar as questões e resolvê-las. Nesta altura, já não nos podem trazer declarações de intenções e promessas”, disse.

Os alunos reconhecem os direitos dos professores, mas sentem-se prejudicados com a paralisação. Nesse sentido, um grupo de pelo menos sete estudantes anunciou ter iniciado uma greve de fome de 15 dias para exigir o regresso das aulas.
“Estamos sem aulas. Os nossos pais lutaram pelo país e, em função disso, não conseguiram formar-se. Nós estamos a tentar formar-nos, mas o Governo não quer resolver a greve e estamos em casa. Então, preferimos passar fome do que ficar sem estudar. É um direito que está a ser violado”, relatou o aluno Domingos Kizua.
Nesta greve dos docentes, que termina no domingo (11.12), os professores exigem salários dignos e melhores condições de trabalho, e pedem soluções concretas.
“É preciso algo mais prático. Dizer como e em que medida vão ser resolvidos cada um dos pontos que constam do caderno reivindicativo. É isso que os professores estão a pedir. Temos consciência que muitas das questões no caderno não são resolvidas de forma imediata. É preciso que assumam estas questões e estabelecer um cronograma de materialização das reivindicações”, acrescenta Ademar Jinguma.
