PRESIDENTE JOÃO LOURENÇO RENDE HOMENAGEM AO GENERAL “KAMORTEIRO”
O Chefe de Estado, João Lourenço, acompanhado da Primeira-Dama da República, Ana Dias Lourenço, esteve, na manhã desta sexta-feira, no Quartel General do Exército para render homenagem ao General Abreu Muhengo Ukwachitembo “Kamorteiro”, falecido no início desta semana e que hoje foi a enterrar no Cemitério do Alto das Cruzes, em Luanda.
Eis a mensagem que Chefe de Estado escreveu no livro de condolências aberto por ocasião do falecimento do general “kamorteiro” no quartel general do exército | 2 dezembro 2022
Foi com um profundo sentimento de pesar que tomei conhecimento do prematuro falecimento, por doença, do General Abreu Muhengo Ukwachitembo ‘Kamorteiro’, que desempenhava actualmente o cargo de Chefe do Estado Maior General Adjunto das Forças Armadas Angolanas.
O seu nome fica para sempre indelevelmente ligado ao fim definitivo do conflito militar em Angola, por ter sido, em nome da UNITA, um dos signatários dos Acordos de Paz para Angola, a 4 de Abril de 2002.
A partir dessa altura, enquadrado em cargos de chefia nas Forças Armadas Angolanas, desenvolveu uma acção meritória a favor da pacificação e desenvolvimento do país.
Nesta hora de dor, desejo expressar à família enlutada as minhas profundas condolências, extensivas a todos seus amigos e companheiros de luta.
