JMPLA AGITA CIDADE DE MENONGUE COM CRISPINIANO DOS SANTOS
A cidade de Menongue, capital da província do Cuando Cubango, vai acolher amanhã (sábado, 19) o acto central das comemorações do 60º aniversário da fundação da organização juvenil do MPLA (JMPLA), que será orientado pela vice-presidente do partido, Luísa Damião.
Para o efeito, já se encontra, desde as primeiras horas de ontem, o primeiro secretário nacional da JMPLA, Crispiniano dos Santos, que foi recebido pelo primeiro secretário provincial do MPLA no Cuando Cubango, José Martins, e pelos membros da associação que dirige.
Em declarações à imprensa, Crispiniano dos Santos disse que as celebrações antecipadas da organização, fundada a 23 de Novembro de 1962, constituem um momento de grande reflexão para os jovens, sobre o que deve ser o real papel da juventude, enquanto força motriz de uma nação, rumo ao desenvolvimento do país.
Durante três dias no Cuando Cubango, o Secretariado Nacional da JMPLA vai realizar uma série de actividades, desde o contacto directo com os jovens dos mais variados segmentos da sociedade para a recolha de informações sobre o estado de desenvolvimento sociopolítico e económico da região.
“Estes encontros são importantes, não só para ouvirmos os problemas que afligem as comunidades, mas, também, para recebermos os melhores conselhos, reflectirmos juntos de forma profunda, que nos permita fazer uma advocacia fiel junto dos departamentos ministeriais, com vista à resolução dos problemas das populações, sobretudo, dos jovens”, referiu.
Crispiniano dos Santos explicou que o Cuando Cubango foi escolhido para a realização do acto central pela grande importância e simbolismo que representa entre os jovens, pelas batalhas travadas na região e que ficaram vincadas com a força da juventude na altura.
“Nós, jovens, devemos dar sequência a esta grande obra, cultivando o espírito de patriotismo nas pessoas, em geral. A exemplo dos nossos mais velhos hoje que na sua juventude foram os bravos guerreiros que, por amor à pátria, lutaram pela libertação nacional”, disse.
Afirmou que a juventude do MPLA está em festa, pela celebração destes 60 anos de existência, desde a fundação no limiar da segunda guerra da libertação nacional. Por isso, é um momento de júbilo e de reflexão.
“Esta província, por si só, tem um grande significado histórico para o país. Por isso, a juventude deve voltar no tempo e ir buscar as informações sobre as grandes batalhas que foram travadas aqui e reflectir sobre onde saímos, onde estamos e para onde queremos levar esta rica Angola que tanto nos orgulha”, observou.
Acrescentou que o jovem angolano deve converter-se num verdadeiro agente do desenvolvimento de forma a acabar com os problemas que afectam esta camada da sociedade. Por isso, reforçou, cada um deve ser uma peça fundamental para a construção de um estado cada vez mais desenvolvido e uma província do Cuando Cubango boa para se viver.
Está agendada, para hoje, a chegada da vice-presidente do MPLA, Luísa Damião, além de uma visita guiada a um dos municípios da província (por anunciar) e o acto central do 60º aniversário da fundação da JMPLA que será realizado no Salão Gimnodesportivo.
