GATO NO SACO: PGR DECRETA ARQUIVAMENTO DE PROCESSO CONTRA EX-ADMINISTRADOR DO MOXICO
A Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR), no Moxico, decretou o arquivamento dos processos judiciais em que são arguidos o ex-administrador do Moxico, Valdemar Salomão, e a pessoa colectiva CRCC-17/BEE.
Segundo um despacho da PGR, assinado pelo procurador titular, Adão do Nascimento, no Luena, “foi ordenado o arquivamento dos autos de instrução preparatória do processo N.º 5/PGR/2022”.
Sem avançar os motivos, o procurador titular, também ele magistrado instrutor do referido processo, lembra apenas que “são arguidos o cidadão Waldemar José Linguenhe Salomão e a pessoa colectiva CRCC-17/BEE. O primeiro pelo crime de peculato, e a segunda, pelo crime de burla, nos termos previstos nos artigos 362.º e 417.º , respectivamente”.
Recorde-se que Valdemar Salomão tinha sido indicado pela PGR, em 2021, por “fortes suspeitas” de crime de peculato, acusado de ter, alegadamente, celebrado um contrato de forma indevida com uma empresa de construção civil para a reabilitação da vala de irrigação de Sacassanje, 15 quilómetros a Sul da cidade do Luena, província do Moxico.
Segundo a PGR, o negócio foi avaliado em 20 milhões de Kwanzas e que deveria ser executado em 2020, entretanto esse processo depois foi extinguido.
Já a empresa de engenharia “Business Interprise Engagement” (BEE) foi, este ano, processada pela Administração do Moxico por suposto incumprimento parcial de um contrato avaliado em 500 milhões de kwanzas do Plano Integrado de Intervenção nos Municípios (PIIM).
A referida empresa tinha sido contratada em 2020 para adquirir um equipamento de saneamento básico para o município sede da província do Moxico, num montante de 554 milhões 578 mil 378 kwanzas (USD 1 equivale a Kz 419.6).
