Uma obra tida como de requalificação do largo da rua 66/73A no bairro Projecto Nova Vida criou um clima de crispação entre a administração do distrito Urbano do Nova Vida e os moradores.
Os moradores que já começaram a se manifestar, acusam à administração do distrito Urbano do Nova Vida de estar a tentar apoderar-se do espaço, usando como pretexto a requalificação do largo.
Os moradores alegam que, em nenhum momento foram consultados pela administração para os informar sobre as referidas obras. “Fomos surpreendidos com a vedação do largo, o que nos impossibilita de usarmos como local de estacionamento, e também temos usado como área social. Como os senhores podem ver temos árvores plantadas no largo e fazemos jardins para manter o espaço agradável”. Disse um dos moradores.
Segundo os moradores a referida obra nem sequer tem uma placa de identificação, com as informações do valor do projecto, maquete da obra, prazo de realização, licença de construção, e a identificação da empresa que teria de ganhar a obra por meio de um concurso público, o que dá indícios de ser mais um caso de corrupção.
Questionamos os moradores sobre quais seriam as razões que os faz não quererem a realização das obras. Os mesmos disseram que a preocupação deve-se ao facto de que, o projecto que se diz ser de requalificação, visa a construção de quiosques para a venda, o que iria transformar o largo e a zona numa área comercial, e, certamente com a venda irá surgir as consequências, como o aumento da criminalidade, poluição sonora e outros problemas que já tornam a cidade de Luanda uma província difícil de viver.
Os moradores do Projecto Nova Vida dizem estar agastados com a administração local que se transformou num antro de corrupção da venda de terrenos, e pela sua indiferença que vê diariamente o bairro a degradar-se, com o surgimento de inúmeros buracos, e a falta de saneamento, venda desorganizada e o aumento constante da criminalidade.
Os moradores também disseram que o caso do largo da discórdia já é do conhecimento do governo da província de Luanda.
