O Presidente da Associação dos Professores Angolanos (APA), Manuel Inácio Gonga, apelou ao novo executivo que irá tomar posse nos próximos dias, a prestar mais atenção aos problemas da Educação e Ensino em Angola, entre outras situações que afectam o processo da Educação no País, o apelo foi lançado na abertura oficial do novo ano lectivo 2022 – 2023, na província do Bengo feita pelo ministro de Estado e chefe da Casa Civil do Presidente da República, Adão de Almeida.

Inácio Gonga, congratulou-se com o facto de ter havido no ano lectivo transacto, várias realizações mencionando o aumento salarial da função pública, dois concursos públicos de ingresso que admitiram 14 mil professores, concurso público de acesso que promoveu e actualizou o grau dos agentes da educação segundo diz, é resultante do memorando de entendimento entre os sindicatos e o Mistério da Educação, “estando actualmente efectivada a primeira e a segunda fase”.
O número um da APA, apelou ainda que, no presente ano lectivo, se conclua o processo com a efectivação da terceira fase e que seja revista a situação dos agentes que tendem a aumentado o seu nível académico e profissional, uma vez que não foram promovidos efectivos de grau correspondente em função do tempo de serviço.
Solicitou que se crie condições de trabalho e habitação para os professores, que seja atribuído o subsídio de transporte e isolamento aos professores colocados nas localidades mais recordistas do país, que seja aumentado o orçamento dos pilares da educação, e com muitos aplausos, Gonga solicitou ainda que o executivo continue a construir escolas modernas e devidamente apetrechadas, com meios afins no âmbito do PIIM, evitando as escolas debaixo das árvores e crianças fora do sistema de ensino, que haja um plano de recuperação e reabilitação das escolas antigas, “apesar das várias situações endógenas e exógenas aos homens do giz, nós professores angolanos comprometemo-nos no presente ano lectivo a cumprir cabalmente com a nossa obrigação, de ensinar e educar cada vez melhor os angolanos em saber ser e saber estar”.
