LÍDERES MUNDIAIS FELICITAM JOÃO LOURENÇO PELA REELEIÇÃO
Os Estados Unidos da América felicitaram ontem João Lourenço, pela sua reeleição como Presidente da República de Angola.
Numa declaração tornada pública na última sexta-feira, Antony Blinken, secretário de Estado norte-americano, sublinha que espera trabalhar com João Lourenço “para fortalecer a relação vital entre Angola e os Estados Unidos”.
“Continuaremos a colaborar estreitamente com o Governo angolano e o povo angolano para promover os nossos objectivos compartilhados, enquanto trabalhamos juntos para promover um futuro mais sustentável, seguro, inclusivo e próspero”, reforça Blinken.
“Saudamos os milhões de eleitores angolanos que votaram nestas eleições e, ao fazê-lo, demonstraram o seu empenho no reforço da democracia. Esperamos trabalhar em parceria com os líderes eleitos de Angola para forjar um amanhã melhor para todos os angolanos e americanos”, concluiu o secretário de Estado norte-americano.
A Comissão Nacional Eleitoral (CNE) divulgou a acta de apuramento final das Eleições Gerais de 24 de Agosto, que proclamou o MPLA e o seu candidato, João Lourenço, como vencedores com 51,17% dos votos, elegendo 124 deputados.

Por outro lado, o Chefe de Estado da República Popular da China, Xi Jinping, felicitou, também, ontem, o MPLA e o presidente João Lourenço pela vitória nas Eleições Gerais de 24 de Agosto último.
As felicitações vêm expressas numa mensagem entregue sexta-feira à tarde ao ministro das Relações Exteriores, Téte António, pelo embaixador extraordinário e plenipotenciário da República Popular da China em Angola, Gong Tao.
Rebelo Sousa escreve a João Lourenço
O Presidente de Portugal felicitou ontem o Chefe de Estado eleito de Angola, João Lourenço. Em nota publicada na página oficial da Presidência da República Portuguesa, Marcelo Rebelo Sousa sublinha que “terminado o processo eleitoral, com o Acórdão, de ontem, do Tribunal Constitucional de Angola, o Presidente da República enviou uma carta ao Presidente João Lourenço, felicitando-o pela reeleição”.
De acordo com a mesma fonte, o Presidente da República Portuguesa, também, saúda, pelos resultados obtidos, o principal candidato opositor, e formula um voto de que a vida política angolana se continue a desenvolver em clima de liberdade, de pluralismo e de tolerância.

Ontem, João Lourenço recebeu também felicitações do Primeiro-Ministro de Portugal. Na mensagem António Costa saúda, igualmente, “todos os partidos e candidatos que participaram no pleito eleitoral, assim como o povo angolano, pela demosntração de enorme maturidade cívica e política”.
