ANGOLA É O SEGUNDO EM ATAQUES CIBERNÉTICOS
Luanda – Angola é o segundo país em número de ataques cibernéticos a nível de África, o que gera impactos negativos na ordem dos dois mil milhões de dólares para as pequenas e médias empresas (PME) e o segmento corporativo, de acordo com informações divulgadas, ontem, pela Angola Cables.
A companhia cita o estudo Cloudflare DDoS report of 2022 como fonte dos números divulgados numa nota em que anuncia a participação na FILDA 2022, indicando que os ataques são “cada vez mais volumétricos e sofisticados”, incidindo em maioria sobre os sectores financeiro, governamental e multimédia.
O debate dessa realidade que leva a Angola Cables a participar no certame, onde realiza uma palestra subordinada ao tema “Sobreviver a ciberataques, uma decisão urgente”.
Na nota, a Angola Cables afirma que, dada a vulnerabilidade a que várias instituições estão sujeitas, vai apresentar a solução Shields2Africa, contra-ataques cibernéticos DDoS (ataque distribuído de negação de serviço). A solução funciona como um escudo, com automatismos capazes de detectar, reportar e mitigar em tempo real ataques cibernéticos à escala global, com suporte à inteligência artificial (AI) o mais próximo possível da origem do ataque.
