O Presidente da República, João Lourenço, procedeu esta quarta-feira, em Luanda, à inauguração do Hospital Materno-Infantil Manuel Pedro Azancot de Menezes, situado no Distrito Urbano da Camama, num dia em que se comemora o 1 de Junho dia internacional da criança

O Hospital Materno-Infantil Dr. Manuel Pedro Azancot de Menezes dispõe de sete andares com área administrativa, maternidade, banco de urgência, espaço para consultas externas, unidades de cuidados intensivos pediátrica com 10 camas, das quais duas para o isolamento para atender doenças infecciosas.
O hospital conta ainda com 10 incubadoras de última geração, sendo duas destinadas ao isolamento com condições técnicas capaz de suportar os neo-natais em estado crítico que necessitam de oxigénio, parque de estacionamento, entre outros compartimentos.
