ANGOLA PARTICIPA NA 110ª CONFERÊNCIA INTERNACIONAL DO TRABALHO
Angola participa, desde hoje, sexta-feira, na sessão inaugural da 110ª Conferência internacional do trabalho, em Genebra , Suíça, a decorrer até ao dia 11 de Junho, na sede da Organização, em formato híbrido (presencial e virtual), sendo a sessão inaugural totalmente virtual.

O Secretário de Estado para o Trabalho, Emprego e Segurança Social, Pedro José Filipe, e sete peritos do MAPTSS participam do evento, devendo a ministra da Administração Pública, Trabalho e Segurança Social (MAPTSS), Teresa Rodrigues Dias, chefe da delegação angolana ao evento, chegar a Genebra no dia 5 de Junho.
A equipa será integrada ainda pela Representante Permanente de Angola junto dos Escritórios das Nações Unidas em Genebra, Margarida Izata, e diplomatas da Missão Permanente.
Durante os trabalhos a titular do MAPTSS, Teresa Rodrigues Dias vai intervir na plenária, que inicia no dia 6 de Junho, onde serão apresentadas as questões mais graves que afectaram as agendas dos governos, particularmente em contexto de pandemia.
De acordo com a agenda da CIT, as comissões iniciarão o trabalho preparatório no dia 30 de Maio, devendo as sessões plenárias acontecer entre os dias 6 e 11 de Junho.
A cúpula de alto nível sobre o mundo do trabalho será realizada no dia 10 de Junho e o término previsto para o dia 11 de Junho.
Neste evento, o Secretario Executivo da CPLP, Zacarias da Costa, irá igualmente proferir uma declaração em nome do Grupo.
Entre os itens da agenda estará a possível alteração da Declaração da OIT sobre Princípios e direitos fundamentais no trabalho, de 1998, para incluir condições de trabalho seguras e saudáveis.
Será realizada uma discussão inicial sobre aprendizagem, com vista à possível criação de uma nova norma internacional do trabalho.
Os comités também discutirão o trabalho decente e a economia social e solidária e o objectivo estratégico como parte do mecanismo de acompanhamento da Declaração da OIT sobre justiça social para uma globalização justa.
A conferência será seguida de uma reunião do conselho de administração da OIT no dia 13 de Junho, na qual serão eleitos novos dirigentes para o período 2022 -2023.
A CIT, também conhecida por parlamento mundial do trabalho, é o maior encontro internacional dedicado ao mundo do trabalho, com a participação de representantes de governos, empregadores e trabalhadores dos 187 Estados membros da OIT.
Os delegados discutem as principais questões relacionadas ao mundo do trabalho, adoptam e monitoram a aplicação das normas internacionais do trabalho e definem as prioridades e o orçamento da OIT no nível global.
